Witnesses in trial against Conrad Murray

####Prosecution ####

Kenny Ortega ( Al Seib / Los Angeles Times / Pool)

Kenny Ortega (9/27/2011) - Renowned choreographer and director, Mr. Ortega told jurors he had grave concerns about Michael's health and his doctor's conduct. When he told Murray of Michael's condition days earlier, Murray basically told him to mind his own business. (Perhaps Mr. Ortega and Frank Deleo should have had an intervention with Michael anyway.)

Paul Gongaware ( Al Seib / Los Angeles Times / Pool)

Paul Gongaware (9/28/2011) - Co-chief executive of AEG Live and producer on Jackson's ill-fated "This Is It" tour testified that he negotiated the terms when Murray was hired to be Michael's personal physician.

Kath Jorrie (Al Seib / Los Angeles Times / Pool)

Kathy Jorrie (9/28/2011) - Attorney who drafted, for AEG, the $150,000-a-month contract under which Murray was to care for Michael.

Michael Amir Williams (Al Seib / Los Angeles Times / Pool)

Michael Amir Williams (9/28/2011) - Michael's personal assistant told jurors that when the singer stopped breathing, Murray called him to say that Michael had had a "bad reaction." During the call, he was never told exactly what happened or that it was a dire medical emergency, but only to come to Michael's home right away. On his way there, Mr. Williams called security and asked them to go into the house to find out what was going on because Murray did not give him any details.

Faheem Muhammad (Al Seib / Los Angeles Times / Pool)

Faheem Muhammad (9/28/2011) - The head of Michael's security team, recalled walking into the upstairs bedroom (after 911 was called by security guard Alberto Alvarez) and seeing Murray with the singer, who was sprawled on the floor. He also saw Michael's children crying outside of the bedroom Michael was in and helped remove them from the scene.

Alberto Alvarez (Al Seib / Los Angeles Times / Pool)

Alberto Alvarez (9/29-30/2011) - Michael's director of logistics was the first staffer to enter the bedroom where Michael lay lifeless on June 25, 2009. Before he could call 911, Mr. Alvarez was told my Murray to put medication vials, bottles, etc. in bags. Mr. Alvarez also witnessed Murray attempting to do CPR on Michael while he was on a bed, instead of moving Michael onto a hard surface. After calling 911, he helped Murray move Michael to the floor upon instructions of the 911 operator. (Mr. Alvarez claims he was under the impression that bottles/meds were being collected for Murray to bring to the hospital as proof of what was given to Michael...not for the purpose of hiding it in the room. That being said, he most likely thought Murray already called 911 and that EMTs were already on the way.)

Kai Chase (Al Seib / Los Angeles Times / Pool)

Kai Chase (9/29/2011) - Michael's personal chef testified that Murray interrupted her lunch preparation with a panicked cry for help, however, he never expressed to Ms. Chase that it was a dire medical emergency and didn't ask her to call 911. She therefore followed regular protocol and alerted security (and Michael's oldest son...bad move. Since Murray didn't have enough common sense to call 911 himself, Ms. Chaise should have done so as soon as she saw Michael incapacitated and Murray "freaking out," since she was the first employee on the scene. Sure, it was against protocol...letting outsiders know what's going on inside the house...but protocol goes out the window when someone is down. It's security's job to keep people out, not the chef. Step 1: Risk your job by disregarding protocol in order to save a life. I'm sure all would have been forgiven had Michael lived. Step 2: Make a 6-second call to security telling them that Michael is not responding, the doctor is panicking and to secure the kids and expect EMT any minute. Step 3: Call 911! After all, you're dealing with a doctor on the premises who is too stupid to call 911 in an emergency. She seemed a bit arrogant on the stand.)

Robert William Johnson (Al Seib / Los Angeles Times / Pool)

Robert Johnson (9/30/2011) - A representative of Nonin Medical, an equipment manufacturer, told jurors that the pulse and blood-oxygen monitor used by Murray was "not labeled for constant monitoring" of a patient and should have only been used for spot checks.

Robert Russell (Al Seib / Los Angeles Times / Pool)

Robert Russell (9/30/2011) - A former patient of Murray. He testified that he owed the doctor his life after a heart attack, but later felt abandoned and neglected because Murray continually cancelled Mr. Russell's follow-up appointments and did not get him a referral for a replacement cardiologist after Murray left his practice. He spoke with Murray via phone on the morning Michael died.

Richard Senneff (Al Seib / Los Angeles Times / Pool)

Richard Senneff (9/30/2011) - One of several paramedics who tried to revive Michael. He said Murray lied to him about the nature of Michael's treatment and never mentioned propofol.

Martin Blount (Al Seib / Los Angeles Times / Pool)

Martin Blount (9/30/2011) - The second emergency worker to testify, Mr. Blount said Murray appeared "flustered" and was sweating profusely as he stood over Michael. He also saw Murray picking up bottles from the floor. Mr. Blount and Mr. Senneff both testified they never saw any signs of life during the 42 minutes they were with Michael.

Dr. Richelle Cooper (Al Seib / Los Angeles Times / Pool)

Dr. Richelle Cooper (9/30/2011) - The emergency room physician told the jury that Murray never mentioned propofol.

Jeff Strohm (Mario Anzuoni / Reuters / Pool)

Jeff Strohm (10/3/2011) - The Sprint/Nextel representative confirmed that Murray had a second cell phone with Sprint.

Dr. Thao Nguyen (Mario Anzuoni / Reuters / Pool)

Dr. Thao Nguyen (10/3/2011) - The cardiologist told jurors Murray never mentioned propofol and said only that he had administered a sedative to the pop star. Dr. Nguyen testified that when she pressed Murray for the time he had given Michael the medication, he said he didn't know.

Dr. Joanne Prashad (Mario Anzuoni / Reuters / Pool)

Dr. Joanne Prashad (10/3/2011) - The Houston internist told the jury that she called Murray the morning of Michael's death to discuss a shared patient.

Antoinette Gill (Mario Anzuoni / Reuters / Pool)

Antoinette Gill (10/3/2011) - A patient of Murray's. She called Murray on the morning Michael died. Ms. Gill was seeking a referral for another cardiologist, which she never received.

Consuelo Ng (Mario Anzuoni / Reuters / Pool)

Consuelo Ng (10/3/2011) - A volunteer at Murray's Las Vegas office.

Bridgette Morgan (Mario Anzuoni / Reuters / Pool)

Bridgette Morgan (10/3/2011) - Met Murray at a Las Vegas nightclub in 2003. Miss. Morgan told jurors that she tried to reach Murray the morning of Michael's death but he didn't answer his phone because, as we later find out, he was on his other cell phone at the time.

Stacey Ruggles (Mario Anzuoni / Reuters / Pool)

Stacey Ruggles (10/4/2011) - An employee at Murray's Houston clinic, Ms. Ruggles briefly testified about a phone call with her boss the morning Michael died.

Michelle Bella (Mario Anzuoni / Reuters / Pool)

Michelle Bella (10/4/2011) - A former girlfriend, who met Murray at a "social type club" in Las Vegas, testified that she received a text message from the doctor the morning of June 25, 2009, the day Michael died.

Sade Anding (Mario Anzuoni / Reuters / Pool)

Sade Anding (10/4/2011) - Miss. Anding was a waitress at a Houston steakhouse when she met Murray. She testified that she got a call from Murray at 11:51 a.m. on the morning of Michael's death. She also told jurors that several minutes into the call Murray disappeared from the other end of the line.

Nicole Alvarez (Mario Anzuoni / Reuters / Pool)

Nicole Alvarez (10/4/2011) - The stripper and mother to Murray's toddler son testified that she received seven FedEx packages at her apartment for Murray -- shipments prosecutors have said included large quantities of propofol. She was also caught lying on the stand. (Her "performance" on the stand was cringe worthy...worse ever attempt at acting. She had a very bad attitude and was evasive.)

Tim Lopez (Mario Anzuoni / Reuters / Pool)

Tim Lopez (10/4/2011) - The Las Vegas pharmacist testified that his pharmacy shipped many vials of propofol to Murray at an address in Santa Monica.

Sally Hirschberg (Mario Anzuoni / Reuters / Pool)

Sally Hirschberg (10/5/2011) - An account representative for a medical supply company, Ms. Hirschberg testified about the items Murray purchased through his practice and had shipped to his Las Vegas office.

Stephen Marx (Mario Anzuoni / Reuters / Pool)

Stephen Marx (10/5/2011) - A computer forensic examiner, Marx testified about the emails he recovered from Murray's iPhone. The jurors also heard the recording of a conversation between Murray and an incoherent Michael that was also retrieved from Murray's iPhone.

Elissa Fleak (Mario Anzuoni / Reuters / Pool)

Elissa Fleak (10/5-6/2011) - An investigator with the Los Angeles County Coroner's office. Ms. Fleak testified about the extensive collection of prescription medicines and medical supplies recovered in Michael's bedroom and closet. She also claims that she found a makeshift drip for propofol, but did not photograph it before dismantling it and taking it into evidence. (That was a big mistake.)

Dan Anderson (Mario Anzuoni / Reuters / Pool)

Dan Anderson (10/6-7/2011) - A toxicologist at the Los Angeles County coroner's office, Anderson told jurors about the process of testing and identifying the medicines found in Michael's body.

Scott Smith (Mario Anzuoni / Reuters / Pool)

DetECTIVE Scott Smith (10/7/2011) - A detective with the Los Angeles Police Department's Robbery-Homicide Division, Det. Smith told jurors about the investigation of Michael's death.

Dr. Christopher Rogers (10/11/2011) - A pathologist at the Los Angeles County coroner's office, Rogers told jurors about the findings of the autopsy he performed on Michael.

Alon Steinberg (Robyn Beck / Pool)

Dr. Alon Steinberg (10/12/2011) - The cardiologist told jurors that Murray violated the standard of care when treating Michael. Dr. Steinberg also confirmed that Murray is not a board certified cardiologist. (This doctor should be named best witness of the year.)

Nader Kamangar (Robyn Beck / Pool)

Dr. Nader Kamangar (10/12-13/2011) - A pulmonary and critical care physician, Dr. Kamangar testified about Murray's violation of the standard of care in his treatment of Michael.

Steven Shafer (Robyn Beck / Pool)

Dr. Steven Shafer (10/13-24/2011 & 11/1/2011) - A professor of anesthesiology at Columbia University and an expert on propofol. Dr. Shafer claims a person cannot die from drinking the amount of propofol that was found in Michael's body.

####Defense ####

Donna Norris (10/24/2011) - Beverly Hills Police Department Communications Director, discussed 911 call from Michael's house on June 25, 2009.

Alexander Supall (10/24/2011) - Los Angeles Police Department surveillance specialist.

Dan Myers (10/24/2011) - Los Angeles Police Department detective, interviewed Alberto Alvarez.

Orlando Martinez (10/24/2011) - Los Angeles Police Department detective, interviewed Alberto Alvarez.

Dr. Allan Metzger (10/24/2011) - Rheumatologist, treated Michael periodically.

Cherilyn Lee (10/24-25/2011) - Nurse Practitioner-Nutritional therapy, treated Michael and his children and warned Michael of the dangers of using Propofol to sleep. Michael told her believed it was safe so long as he was properly monitored because this is what doctors told him. Ms. Lee continued to try and convince him it was not safe. (If looks could kill, this trial would have ended at the completion of Cherilyn Lee's testimony following the stare she gave Murray.)

Amir Dan Rubin (10/25/2011) - COO of UCLA Medical Center who secured the area Michael's family was in and confirmed that Michael's family was informed of his death by Dr. Cooper and counselors, not by Murray.

Brandon "Randy" Phillips (10/25/11) - President and CEO of AEG Live.

Michael Henson (10/25/11) - Technical operations officer at Pacific Toxicology Laboratories.

Gerry Causey (10/26/2011) - Former patient of Murray who also gave interviews to news. He also said Murray is his best friend and even if he knew Murray was guilty, he would still support him. (This shows bias.)

Andrew Guest (10/26/2011) - Former patient of Murray who also gave interviews to news.

Lunette Sampson
(10/26/2011) - Former patient of Murray.

Dennis Hix
(10/26/2011) - Former patient of Murray and neighbor of Murray's children.
(He seemed very rehearsed/coached.)

Ruby Mosley (10/26/2011) - Former Houston-based patient of Murray and of his father. (Very few 80+ year olds aren't going to back their dr no matter what.)

Dr. Robert Waldman (10/27/2011) - Addiction/Detox Specialist who said to the defense that Michael became physically dependent on the pain killer demerol right before he died, but then admitted to the prosecution he couldn't say for sure whether Michael was addicted to demerol. He also agreed that doctors should keep records and should lock up all drugs and not leave them around patients. Dr. Waldman is not a board certified addiction specialist. (During cross examination, he was very combative/argumentative toward the prosecution, refused to answer some questions and formed his opinions on Michael based on 1980's/90's media speculation.)

Dr. Paul White (10/27/2011-11/1/2011) - Anesthesiologist who told the jury he never concluded Michael died from drinking propofol, but claimed it was merely a suggestion. Basically, he backtracked from the defenses claim after they dropped their original theory. When asked by the defense whether he could justify infusing a dose of propofol and then leaving the patient, Dr. White responded, "Absolutely not." He also stated that he believes Michael could have caused his own death by swallowing 8 lorazepam pills and then injecting propofol. On his second day on the stand, while being cross-examination by the State, Dr. White claimed that Michael got out of bed, located the propofol already in the syringe, injected it and laid back down in the same place. (However, no fingerprints from Michael were found on anything and he wouldn't have had the strength or capability to get out of bed while dragging his IV, pick up the bag of urine that was attached to his condom catheter, look for a syringe, inject propofol and put everything, including himself, back in the same place it was prior to his getting out of bed, all after taking 8 lorazepam pills, as a single dose causes a soporific/sedative effect. Eight pills would have been 4 times the regular dose.) Dr. White also claims that Michael had his own stash of propofol. (Can this guy be serious? Are we to believe anyone can order propofol?) He also seemed evasive and forgetful when questioned by the prosecutor, couldn't seem to remember his own published quotes regarding propofol use and seemed unprepared. It didn't seem as if Dr. White reviewed anything he was to testify to prior to taking the stand for cross-examination and looked as if he was guessing. (We'll just call him Dr. "It's A Good Guess" White.) He also claims to have overlooked details, but used them in his testimony anyway...and that the charts used during his testimony were created by Dr. Gabriela Ornelas, someone he met days before taking the stand. (Dr. White is supposed to be the key witness for the defense? Wow...unbelievable!)

Side note: Judge Pastor fined Dr. White $1,000 for direct contempt of court in violating judge's orders to refrain from mentioning his conversations with Murray. The matter will be reviewed on November 17. Dr. White is also being held in contempt of court because he called one of the witnesses a scumbag to a member of the media. This hearing will be mid November as well.)

Dr. Gabriela Mallen-Ornelas - Grad student responsible for creating some charts/graphs used as defense evidence during Dr. White's testimony. She was not called to testify.

Dr. Conrad Murray - On trial for the death of Michael Jackson, charged with involuntary manslaughter. He did not take the stand.
